Ingredients

  • 8 oz feta cheese block, drained and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt full-fat
  • 3 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil divided
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice about half a lemon
  • 2 tbsp honey divided
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper freshly ground
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill chopped
  • 2 tbsp cold water as needed, to thin
  • 4 pita breads cut into wedges, for serving
  • 2 cucumbers sliced, for serving
  • 4 carrots cut into sticks, for serving

Method

  1. Drain the feta, then crumble it into a food processor. Add the Greek yogurt, 2 tablespoons of the olive oil, the lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of the honey and the black pepper.
  2. Pulse for 60 to 90 seconds, scraping down the bowl once or twice, until the dip is smooth and fluffy.
  3. If the dip looks thick, add the cold water 1 tablespoon at a time and pulse until creamy.
  4. Spoon into a shallow serving bowl and swirl the top with the back of a spoon.
  5. Drizzle with the remaining 1 tablespoon honey and 1 tablespoon olive oil, then scatter with red pepper flakes and dill.
  6. Serve with pita wedges, cucumber slices and carrot sticks.
