If you've ever sung along to "Tennessee Whiskey" in the car, you know it's a slow burn of a song that leaves a singer nowhere to hide. In The Voice Battles, BigCountry and Luke Cope take on Chris Stapleton's song as a duet.
The Battles put two artists on one song, so harmony matters as much as each voice on its own. This performance shows how these two share Stapleton's song.
This is a milestone season for NBC's four-time Emmy Award-winning series, which returned September 21 for its 30th season. Kelly Clarkson and reigning champ Adam Levine are back in their red chairs, and all-new coaches Queen Latifah and Riley Green fill out the panel. The show brings together strong vocalists from across the country, and all of them want to become the next Voice champion.
If you'd like to follow BigCountry and Luke Cope through the season, The Voice airs Mondays at 8/7c on NBC and streams the next day on Peacock. For now, press play and give "Tennessee Whiskey" a few minutes of your time.
