If you watched the America's Got Talent 2026 finale, you saw something a little different from the usual competition acts. Linkin Park joined Nene Royal for a performance of "The Emptiness Machine," and the show's own channel calls it a powerful one.
There's a lot going on for the band around this moment. Linkin Park's new documentary, UNSHATTER, opens in theaters worldwide for a limited run starting September 30. They also have a new live album, UNSHATTER Film Soundtrack (Live in São Paulo), out September 25. It's a collection of live tracks from across their whole career, recorded at their album release show in November 2024.
The finale wrapped a season with judges Mel B, Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel and Sofía Vergara, and Terry Crews as host. Seeing a band with Linkin Park's history share that stage with Nene Royal makes this one a nice break from the competition.
