Guess the year #1

Three small clues from everyday American life all point to the same year.
The Atari Video Computer System went on sale, with two joysticks and a Combat cartridge in the box for $199.
The Apple II home computer started shipping in June, with color graphics and a price of $1,298 for the original model.
A gallon of unleaded regular gas ran about 65 cents at the pump, give or take a penny or two by the month.
With Veterans Day just around the corner, a quiet thank-you to everyone who served, then and now.
